It makes the next day’s climb into cloud forest feel like a second landscape rather than another attraction in the same city.

The journey begins in Da Nang, but the character changes during the ascent. The author’s review remembers roughly half an hour in the cable car, with forest below and the city receding into the distance. Weather can change within that climb, so the mountain may arrive in sun, cloud, or both.
